Our Pecan Nuts are grown on our farm on the banks of the Orange River near Groblershoop in the Northern Cape. All nuts are shelled by hand by local women- ( we do not use machines, heat or water)- resulting a a superior and very healthy kernel. The most succulent halves and pieces are taken out ( by hand) and the remaining pieces( wafers) are carefully cleaned and sorted and ground to a flour on the farm. We only use healthy( but with less oil content) pecan nuts for our flour. It is not a side product.  We shell each nut, removing all hard membranes and husks, before grinding. A light coarse wholenut flour with many health benefits. 

Product: 750g sealed plastic bag. Pecan nuts pieces are ground into a fine texture called pecan nut flour. Our flour has no shells or husks added to it. 100% edible goodness.

How do I use Pecan Nut Flour?

Pecan Nut Flour is an excellent ingredient for rusks, carrot cake & pie crust.  Very versatile and can replace any conventional flour with added health benefits. A healthy alternative for cooking, for example, crumb-coated chicken, fish, and pork.  Gluten Free baking made easy (needs rising agent. )

Pecan Nuts are potentially a source of allergens for individuals sensitive to nut products.
